Why do you specialize in the plural and multicultural children's literature?
Because cultural and linguistic diversity has become a standard in our everyday lives and brings beautiful perspectives to the world. By interacting, whether, at home, work, school, or hobbies, diversity is at the heart of our daily lives.
If the child is the first to be amazed by flowers, birds, and so on. Why not nourish him to develop his ability to learn and to be amazed by his/her cultural, multicultural, diverse environment? Whether in terms of human interaction or with its environment. Aren’t the wonders of a garden born from the diversity of flowers it houses?
The construction of tomorrow's society on a solid basis begins with children, hence the importance of introducing them to quality reading, reflection, and sharing, from an early age.
How do you make sure that the books offered reflect all of your quality criteria?
We read all the books we offer! Yes, all of them! We make sure that the stories, texts, and illustrations are not stereotypical, biased, or reductive.
This may seem like a relatively simple task, but the search for titles that embody multicultural values is a very difficult job. Hundreds of books are published each year, and high-quality books often go unnoticed in the context of editorial overproduction that characterizes the literary field. Our role is to give them back the place they deserve. Much of our selection also has literary awards.
Why do you only offer illustrated books?
Because children are particularly sensitive to the visual aspect and they learn by observing the world around them. We make sure in our selections to vary the illustrations' styles to initiate them and open them to a larger art world.
Where do your books come from?
Our partner publishing houses are based in Switzerland, Canada, the United States, India, Morocco, Mali, Madagascar, France, and many other countries ...

What is a literary box?
Our boxes contain a selection of illustrated books for your children from 0 to 10 years old.
Much like a gift, you will receive eclectic books from handpicked independent publishers worldwide direct to your doorstep. These books celebrate the diversity of our society and the world through subjects, stories, characters, and illustrations that we want to convey as authentically as possible.
What is in the box contain?
In addition to the monthly book selection, each box contains surprises that we select with the finest care. Stationery, chocolate, pencils, soft toys, games, there is something for everyone. In our approach, we would like to support the innovation of talented designers from Switzerland and elsewhere.
What are the different types of subscriptions you offer?
We offer 3 types of subscriptions:
- The early reading subscription for 0 - 3-year-olds. The books are chosen according to the criteria of development and awakening of the child. Audiobooks, picture books, object books, as well as short stories are selected.
- The subscription to read with mum and dad for ages 4 to 6. These are generally short stories with a high quality of illustration. We take care to select titles that will introduce your child to thinking and help develop their curiosity for the wide world around them. Books are meant to grow with the child.
- The subscription big box is from 7 to 10 years old. The themes available are diversified, ranging from learning the values of living together to raising awareness of global challenges (assertiveness, openness to the world, environmental issues, etc.)
All these subscriptions are offered in French, English, and bilingual versions. The last formula allows you to receive a mixture of French and English books.
How does a subscription work?
After choosing the age group and the language of your choice, all you have to do is decide on the length of your choice.
- The “discovery” box is a monthly subscription that you are free to cancel anytime: You will receive a monthly box with one book selection, embellished with the surprises of the month. Payment is made monthly by direct debit that you can cancel anytime. Only the first month remains due.
- The "fun reading" box: You will receive a quarterly box with three books each time to discover. Payment is made quarterly by direct debit that you can stop at any time. Only the first payment equivalent to the first three months remains due.
- The "booklovers" and "bookworm" boxes: Are prepaid formulas for six or twelve months with no commitment. Every two months, you will receive a box with two books. If wished, you are free to pursue your subscription with another formula.
What if the books on offer are not suitable for my child's age?
We do our best to diversify the readings and adapt the topics and stories as best as possible to the target age group. However, each child is unique. If you find that our proposals are not appropriate - too simple or too complex - for the maturity of your child, do not hesitate to communicate them to us by email and we will be happy to take them into account for the next boxes.
I have more than one child, is it possible to include several books in the same box?
Yes of course! You can select 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month subscriptions and receive two to three books per box. However, the selection of books is only possible for the same age group.
Can I choose the content of my box?
The idea of the box is to receive surprise books in your mailbox, much like a gift. We do our best to diversify its content to satisfy the curiosity of all our readers. However, if you would like a specific theme or story, do not hesitate to contact us, we will be happy to hear from you and we will adapt the content of your box as well as possible.

Can I unsubscribe or pause my subscription?
Subscriptions are non-binding and will automatically end once the subscription period has elapsed. For the 6 and 12 month formulas, it is not possible to interrupt them during the chosen period. However, for any complaint, we invite you to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will try to find a solution together as much as possible.
I would like to offer a box or a subscription to a loved one, what should I do?
Our box is an original gift to offer, as useful as it is pleasant. The beneficiary will be able to receive, once or in the form of a subscription, a box containing an illustrated book adapted to the age group and the language of the child as well as surprises from talented designers. You can go to the section "To offer" and make your choice.
Once your choice has been made, you will have to choose the recipient's delivery address in the “delivery address” section. Warning! This address is different from your billing address. Please make sure that the billing address is yours so that the recipient can receive their box as a gift, without an invoice! You also have the option of adding a personalized message, which we will take care of integrating into the box. To do this, you can add your message in the section "note" under "basket".
In the event of a group purchase including a gift, plus a box or a subscription for you, we invite you to specify the beneficiary's contact details in the section "note" under "basket".
What are the possible payment methods?
Payments are made online, using a credit card such as Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Postfinance Card, or TWINT. The payment is completely secure and guarantees the confidentiality of your banking data.
The payment failed, what to do?
You can re-enter your bank details at any time, ensuring that they are correct. However, if the problem persists, do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com, we will do our best to find a solution together.
How do you set your prices?
The books that we select have a public price which varies between twenty and forty francs. Our motto is to select high-quality books, whether graphic, textual, thematic, or even in terms of their composition (printing and paper) because the ecological aspect is important to us. A second part of the price allows us to select the accessory products. We work with local businesses and designers, and we want to pay fairly for the products we select. Finally, there is the administrative work which allows us to remunerate ourselves and cover our costs of maintaining the site, packaging, transport, etc.
I haven't received anything, what should I do?
Each month, the box arrives around the 25th at home. If after the 1st of the following month, your box has still not arrived, we advise you to check the site beforehand, - in the "my account" section - that the address you have given us is correct.
If your research turns out to be unsuccessful, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can find a solution together.
For new subscribers: If you subscribed after the 15th of the current month, that's normal! The first box you will receive will be that of the following month.
For example, if you subscribe on May 16, the first box received will be for June, and it will arrive at your home around June 25.
For the "Joy of reading", "Reading enthusiast" and "Reading enthusiast" subscriptions, you will receive your box once every 2 or 3 months depending on the package chosen.
I am moving, how can I change my address?
The boxes are sent in the second part of the current month. You must change your address during the first half of the month. However, to avoid any errors, we invite you to contact us beforehand, before making any changes.
To change your address, nothing could be simpler. Go to the site, where you click on “my account”, “my information”, then you modify the address.
Who delivers my box?
Our boxes are delivered by La Poste. Normally, the box arrives in the mail, because it is not very thick. Otherwise, the carrier will slip you a transit advice note in the box so that you can pick up your box at the nearest post office.
I received my damaged box, what should I do?
We assemble all the boxes, and we rely on a service provider for shipment. If, however, you receive a damaged package, we invite you to contact the carrier. Being a small family business, unfortunately, we cannot cover the damage caused by the carrier. Nevertheless, in this case, we invite you to contact us to find a solution together as much as possible.
